i have decided to make this a whole lot more interesting. i am going to post some siswati words with their english translations to help you learn our language although you will not really know how to pronounce it correctly but you better try!!!!
I am back with new phrases for us folks who get to interact in offices or any other working environment. ( Please note that we also use both languages in some phrases)

Hi guys i figured you might need to buy some clothes or cooking utensils as you visit me here in my land (Eswatini) so let me give you names of clothes/utensils in my language. Just to assist you with pronunciation k sounds like the english c (camel/comb)..h is silent or sounds like Ne"he"miah...this is what i'm gonna do, next to the siswati name, i'll try and add an example which is of a similar pronunciation (not in all the words though :( )

(NB: in another context lulwimi can mean language e.g. "our mother language is siswati" translated "lulwimi lwetfu siswati."

NB: i''m sure you have noted that some of these phrases include some english words. most languages have "borrowed words" if i may put it that way. if you dig deeper into siswati though some words are difficult and not being used. eg. pen in siswati luswiba, feather in siswati luswiba.
In most instances 'luswiba' is used with reference to feather unless it's some deep siswati poem or novel.

i don't believe i'm grown and i don't want to go any further, i pray for my youthful days not to end. I'm greatful/happy that the Lord has kept me in good health, i don't have any sickness in my blood with regards to that i must celebrate. In helping me celebrate my birthday, please leave/share well wishes in my Siswati or just write one Siswati word that you know.....that will make me happy.
